The 2711P-RDT7CK display module is a 7-inch display module from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Panelview Plus 700 series. The 7-inch screen on this display module supports full color graphics. The 2711P-RDT7CK display module is protected by a conformal coating that prevents it from being corroded by harsh chemicals. This module has a touchscreen for control and data input. The users can operate the touchscreen on the 2711P-RDT7CK display module with their bare hands, with gloved hands, or with a stylus that is not too sharp.

Description

The 2711P-RDT7CK is Allen-Bradley’s PanelView Plus Color Touchscreen with conformal coating. This PanelView Plus CE 700 color touchscreen has a 6.5-inch display module.

This product can be incorporated into a communication module that has a network interface directly to the base-configured unit to increase the user’s communication capability. The networks which can be used include DH-485, DH+, isolated RS-232, and ControlNet. Installing the communication module on the back of the 2711P-RDT7CK module is quite simple.

The 2711P-RDT7CK module also comes with a keypad that has been designed for gloved finger or bare finger operation. The touchscreen can be operated with a gloved finger, a bare finger, and a plastic touchscreen stylus. The plastic touchscreen stylus must have a minimum radius of 1.3 (0.051 in.) so as to protect the touchscreen from damage. The user should not use any object or tool which has not been recommended in order to prevent the damage of the touchscreen or keypad. This module also uses modular components which allow for flexible installation, configuration, and upgrades.
