The primary function of the 1747-M2 module is to provide storage for the system’s programs and its data tables. With this SLC 500 series memory device, system data can be easily stored and accessed by compatible processors including the SLC 5/01 SLC 5/02.The backplane current for the 1747-M2 at 1 Ampere is 5 Volts of DC; at 175 milliamps, the voltage increases to 24 Volts DC. It has a total program scan time of 0.9 milliseconds and an even shorter scan time of 0.225 milliseconds for its I/O scan.
