The 1746-ITV16 has a nominal input current of 8 mA at 24V DC and a maximum power dissipation of 3.6 W, making it suitable for time-critical applications that require rapid response. The 1746-ITV16 module is responsible for receiving and storing data in its data image table where he can be retrieved by all modular and fixed SLC 500 processors attached to it. It has removable terminal blocks that eliminate the need to disconnect wires. The 1746-ITV16 also includes filter circuitry and optical coupling for signal noise reduction. The 1746-ITV16 module’s input values are accessible by SLC 500 processors using Ladder Logic.
