Point I/O has four main components:

• I/O module provides field interface and system interface circuit

• communication interface module provides network interface circuit

• the terminal block unit provides wiring and signal termination for field side connections and provides system power for the backplane

• the power distribution module provides the scalability of the point I/O system and the flexibility of mixing various signal types

1734 point I/O module each module provides 1 to 8 points. The I/O module is connected to the network through the communication interface, which includes a built-in power supply, which can convert the input 24V DC power supply into 5V DC backplane power supply. Each type of communication interface (network adapter) Zui supports 13 to 17 I/O modules, and Zui provides 10A current. The I/O module receives power from the backplane. When using external power, Zui can expand the point i/o components to 63 i/o modules or 504 channels.
